Courtney Morris > R.Ac, DCH, Doula
Courtney Morris started her journey in health over twenty years ago. She is one of the only people in B.C. to hold a dual diploma in both Acupuncture and Homeopathy. She started in general practice, treating both acute and chronic conditions by treating not just the symptoms but also looking at the root of the issue.
After the birth of her children, it opened up the interest in obstetrics and gynaecology and she has dedicated her study to this field. She is a part of the Obstetrical Acupuncture Association and has been to Mexico to teach Obstetrical Acupuncture to help improve birth outcomes.
She also trained as a doula and has spent much time in hospitals using acupuncture and homeopathy to support women in labour. And has been lucky enough to work with midwives and Ob’s to support women’s needs in pregnancy and postpartum. She believes in working in collaboration with care providers to provide the best possible care for the patient.
She is a kind and gentle healer whose empathetic nature is a gift to all of her patients.
Courtney is a Graduate of PCU College of Holistic Medicine and a registrant in good standing with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture of BC (CTCMA of BC). She holds a diploma in Classical Homeopathy from The Vancouver Centre for Homeopathy. Courtney has had the opportunity to travel around the world and study with Dr. Farouk Masters in India, taken the Masters Clinician Course with Louis Klein, Advanced clinical studies in Greece with George Vithoulkas and Volunteer clinical treatments in villages in Kenya. Acupuncture extra studies with Debra Betts, and Yvonne Ferrell and Robin Green.
Courtney lives with her husband and two children and dog and cat on Bowen Island.
